Understanding politics and our role in politics is vital to be an active citizen in our country. At Florence we are ambitious in allowing all our students to take this GCSE option early, to show how they can provide to society as a citizen once they have finished education. The UK political system and structure is often not well understood by the public, but here at Florence all of our students will leave knowing how it works in the UK and why it matters. Students will learn skills such as:

They will come away with a sense of belonging and care to our community through their participation Active Citizenship. Citizenship will made them proud to be British and proud of their community.
